| MUSIC Classes 8 and up Vocal Ensemble/Music Theory (90 min) Students must audition for this advanced vocal group that meets weekly and performs throughout the year in our community. 4 - 6 yrs Story Time Theatre (45 min) This fun class teaches children confidence through vocal exercises and creative movement. Using stories as teaching tools, students learn improvisation skills, character development, teamwork, and socialization. 5 - 7 yrs Theatre Kids (60 min) Song and dance fun is taught through improvisation, vocal projection, stage movement, and ensemble work. This class encourages character development, stage presence, and creativity. Studying theatre ignites imagination and develops confidence and self awareness.
7 and up Theatre Workshop (60 min) Emphasis is placed on interactive skills through improvisation, vocal projection, stage movement, scene partners, and ensemble work. This class encourages character development, comedic and dramatic staging, and script memorization. Our theatre department ignites imagination and develops confidence and self awareness.
7 and up Musical Theatre (60 min) Dancing, acting, and singing combine to create the ultimate entertainer. Students learn to move through jazz and broadway style dance sequences while projecting to the audience through song. This is an essential class for any aspiring performer.
Private Lessons Voice, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Trumpet We have found that private one-on-one instruction allows students to learn and progress at their own pace as well as gain the best understanding of musical techniques. Private lessons are for children five and older and may be started any time of year. A variety of styles are taught such as pop, jazz, rock & classical.
Private lessons are scheduled individually according to availability.
